Ipswich Custom Cabinets grew out of a simple idea - that the cabinetry in a home should fit the room it lives in, not the other way around. Working across one of Queensland's oldest cities, we saw two very different needs sitting side by side. On one hand, character Queenslanders and timber-and-tin cottages around Booval, Brassall and Bundamba needed period-sensitive kitchens and storage retrofitted into rooms with high ceilings and non-standard dimensions. On the other, the fast-growing estates at Springfield Lakes and Ripley wanted full modern kitchens, walk-in robes and butler's pantries in new homes. We built the business to serve both, with proper measuring, honest material advice and a finish that suits the property. Today that mix of heritage renovation and new-build fit-out is still the heart of what we do.

Steve Smith has spent more than 12 years designing and building custom cabinetry, and he runs every job personally from the first measure to the final adjustment. He believes the difference between a good result and a frustrating one comes down to accurate measuring, sensible material choices and clear communication, so he takes the time to understand how you actually use a space before drawing anything.
